Site Supervisor
Skills Certificate Human Development and Family · Sierra College · 2025-2026 Catalog
A Child Development Site Supervisor supervises a child care and development program operating at a single site; provides service in the care, development and instruction of children in a child care and development program, and serves as a coordinator of curriculum and development. This certificate, when combined with completing the requirement for an AA/AS degree and appropriate work experience, enables the student to be able to apply to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for a Child Development Permit at the Site Supervisor level and also enables the holder to apply to be a California Mentor Teacher. A certificate is designed to provide career technical skills; it is not equivalent to an associate degree.
