Architecture, IDE & Manufacturing Department

The Level 3 certificate helps students develop the advanced design, communication and technical skills required to work as entry level designers, fabricators, mold-makers, prototype model-makers or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technicians and similar industry jobs. Students learn to use research, analysis, visual communication and “design for manufacturing” skills to address common industrial problems. They develop, fabricate, document and evaluate design proposals through virtual and physical prototyping using a wide range of advanced technologies and industry-level equipment and skills. Students may need to pay a $20 materials fee for courses in this program.
