High School Equivalency Preparation
Certificate of Competency Adult High School · MiraCosta College · 2026-2027 Catalog
This certificate is for students who have completed coursework in preparation for a high school equivalency exam. In addition to completing the exam prep course, students will have successfully completed at least one additional, subject-specific course that provides a more comprehensive review of the computer, RLA, Mathematics, Social Studies, or Science skills for needed adequate test preparation, as well as academic, professional, and/or personal success.
Program Student Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this program, students will earn a passing score on all components of a high school equivalency exam.
