      "markdown": "**Minimum Units Required:** 8.0 units\n\nThe Sound Production certificate teaches the craft and techniques of sound recording. Students will learn the basics of recording hardware and software and will work in a hands-on environment and learn how to operate the equipment used in recording sound.
