Graduates of the program would be qualified as instructors in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, or Tap in private studios or recreational and/or community dance programs. The Dance Department also recommends that students complete their General Education Requirements for an Associate in Arts Degree.\n\nStudents will be able to apply principles of movement and creativity to their preferred form of dance and demonstrate instructional skills effectively through movement demonstration and verbal cueing, using appropriate terminology, music, and safety measures.\n\nInstruction will utilize both classroom work, using a variety of instructional methods (lecture, lab/demonstration, independent and group projects) and internship experiences in the business/industry to prepare the student for job requirements.\n\n#### Program Outcomes\n\n#### Program Learning Outcomes\n\n1.
