      "markdown": "**Arts Division  \nCommercial & Entertainment Arts Department**  \nThe Illustration Level 2: Entertainment Arts certificate provides students with the skillset to create concepts and illustrations for the entertainment industry including video games, film, and television. Students must complete the Illustration Level 1 certificate first requiring a total of 18 units and courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher. Focusing on visual communication and world building, students will generate a professional portfolio showcasing strong character design, perspective, props, and keyframes showcasing strong draftsmanship techniques for employment in the entertainment industry.\n\nStudents who successfully complete the program will be able to:\n\n1.  Generate new story concepts and visuals\n2.  Communicate story beats with clear visual narration\n3.  Demonstrate the synthesis of story, style, character, location, emotion, and symbology in compositional studies\n4.  Clearly communicate character and emotion visually\n5.  Utilize quick study drawing skills through visual notes and personal studies as a basis for planning larger extended works of art.\n6.
