      "markdown": "Students may earn the associate degree by completing the Certificate of Achievement in Biomanufacturing as well as a general education (GE) pattern of courses. To be eligible for admission to the bachelor's degree program (see miracosta.edu/bachelors), students must complete the Cal-GETC pattern or a bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. Students should meet with a MiraCosta counselor to develop a written educational plan for the specific degree they wish to earn."
