The Certificate of Achievement in Emergency Medical Technologies is designed to provide students an entrance to the profession of emergency medical services.

#### Career Opportunities

Jobs include EMT's on an ambulance, emergency room technicians, observers on a police helicopter, athletic trainers, EMT's at skilled nursing facilities, patient transporters at hospitals, lifeguards, and ski patrol officers, among others.

#### Program Learning Outcome(s)

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

1.  Function at the California State certified level of EMT.
2.  BePrepared to become a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT).
