Students are required to complete: 60 semester units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including: The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC), all course requirements for the major, earn minimum grades of C (or P) in all courses required for the major and general education, earn a minimum overall grade point average of 2.0. The Associate in Science in Physics for Transfer Degree will also assist Physics major students to transfer to other baccalaureate institutions. Students are advised to consult with a counselor to verify transfer requirements.\n\n#### Program Learning Outcomes\n\nUpon the successful completion of this program, students should be able to:\n\n1. Read, diagram, and solve qualitatively and quantitatively key physics applications aided by correct and efficient lab experiments using industry standard equipment.\n2. Effectively, efficiently, and correctly run lab experiments using industry standard equipment.\n3. Demonstrate an understanding of experimentation and real world applications within the scientific method as well as a mastery of physics lab experiments through the submission of a complete lab report with all required elements present.\n4. Increase confidence in understanding qualitatively and quantitatively physical concepts, communicating ideas and thinking analytically.\n5. Identify the role and influence of ethics, morality, and politics in the development and application of physics."
