      "markdown": "#### Description\n\nThe Administration of Justice program prepares students to serve in law, law enforcement, probation, corrections and other justice-related careers by providing in-depth knowledge of criminal law, evidence, procedure, investigations and forensics. It also develops students' interpersonal and written communication skills and explores social and cultural sensitivity, ethical awareness, and fundamentals of leadership. The program has been authorized by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) to offer certain technical and specialized courses.\n\n#### Program Learning Outcomes\n\nUpon the successful completion of this program, students should be able to:\n\n1.  Evaluate and analyze administration of justice issues and topics using knowledge of the institutions and processes of the justice system.\n2.  Understand the interdisciplinary nature of the justice system and the varying perspectives of the liberal arts and sciences as related to law enforcement, courts, and corrections."
